Root Work
Not just understanding what's stuck.
Releasing it, and building what comes next.
Lineage
"Presence in the therapy. Rigor in the action plan.
Not two modes. One practice."
At fifteen, a surgeon who operated under hypnosis showed me what becomes accessible when you go below language, below the story you tell yourself, into what the body already holds. I practiced self-hypnosis every day for three years until it stopped being a technique and became a way of existing. A vipassana meditation retreat came next, then group therapy focused on self-worth and structured group work on personal growth. The mind was the foundation.
Then the body: five years of couple dance, structured nervous system work, embodiment practice. The body holds intelligence the mind cannot access alone. Business school gave me the architecture to map systems and find roots, not symptoms. These didn't sit separately. They informed each other until they became one practice.
What I do is not therapy alone. It is finding the root of a pattern, in the body, below what words have been able to reach.
What this is
You don't always know what's wrong. Sometimes you just know something isn't working. You keep ending up in the same place. The same kind of relationship. The same reaction. The same thing you can't move past, no matter how much you understand it.
Traditional therapy can help with a lot of things. But there are things it can't reach, because they live too far below the surface, below what words can access. This work goes there. It surfaces what's unconscious: early experiences, beliefs that got lodged before you had language for them, roots of patterns you have been running on without knowing.
This offer is for any topic. You don't have to arrive with a clear problem. You just have to know something isn't working.
Find it
We surface the root: what is unconscious, where the pattern comes from. We go below what you have already understood.
Release it
The body stores what the mind went through. Somatic work releases what has accumulated in the tissue. What understanding alone cannot move.
Change it
Knowing and releasing opens the door. Then we build a concrete plan to shift the pattern and move forward, in the real conditions of your life.
The tools
Each session draws from the tools that fit what emerges. Nothing is applied as a protocol. Everything is chosen in the moment, based on what the body and the conversation are asking for.
We start in the body, not the story. Tracking sensation and working with breath surfaces what's held before the mind gets a chance to explain it away.
A structured way of finding the early belief or experience a pattern is still running on — the root, not just the symptom.
Some patterns were set before you had language for them. This work speaks directly to the part of you that set them.
What you've pushed out of view doesn't disappear, it runs quietly in the background. We bring it back into the room, on purpose.
Images, dreams, and recurring symbols carry information the analytical mind skips past. We read them as data, not decoration.
What surfaces needs somewhere to land. We build a concrete, measurable plan to close the gap between what shifted in the session and how you live going forward.
A note on safety
This work goes into territory that everyday conversation, and sometimes talk therapy, doesn't reach. It is not a replacement for psychiatric or medical care.
It is not appropriate as a stand-alone practice if you are currently in an acute mental health crisis, experiencing active psychosis, living with unmanaged bipolar disorder, or in an unstable dissociative state. In those cases, psychiatric or medical support comes first — this work can complement it once you're stabilized.
Before we start, we'll talk honestly about whether this is the right container for what you're bringing right now.
45 minutes. Free. We find out if this is the right fit.
